I've also been busy with the other side of writing... serious nonfiction about modern issues. We all do what we can to help make a better world. Some ideas challenge on a grand scale... others put my money where my mouth is.

Though I've semi-retired from research, I still try to maintain my "union card" by producing a scholarly paper or two -- on evolution, communication theory, astronomy, and occasionally exobiology (whether humanity may be alone in the cosmos).
