And so it came to be that Jalian d'Arsennette and Georges Mordreaux walked the freeways of the world together, for a while. Let us note, here, the two Precepts of Semi-Divinity:

DKM has finally split with Bantam. This would make the publication of The AI War this year quite unlikely; but probably means that all the Continuing Time books will be reprinted within a year or two. More news as we have it.
Daniel Keys Moran is an up-and-coming science fiction author. First published in George Scithers's Isaac Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine, his third story there, "Realtime", garnered considerable praise. He then disappeared from the scene for several years, only to emerge in 1988 with the novel The Armageddon Blues, a much expanded version of his first IAsfm story.
Since then he has had four more books published, three in the Tales of the Continuing Time and one movie adaptation for a movie which was never made. He's also written a Star Trek episode and three Star Wars short stories.
These books have had a strong base of very loyal fans. At one point, The Long Run reached as high as number three on the Internet Top 100 SF list, and it and the The Last Dancer both are still doing quite well in these charts.
Unfortunately, all of his but the The Last Dancer are out-of-print, and because they are well-liked, they are difficult to find in used bookstores. Worse, there have been publisher difficulties in getting the next one out.
Pages are available for each of his novels:
